VNSH TATTOO REMOVAL
Initial Consultation
Before commencing any treatments, we will arrange a complimentary one-to-one consultation with you. During this session, we will assess whether you are a suitable candidate for the proposed procedure. This consultation enables us to tailor the treatment specifically to your individual needs.
Patch Test Procedure
If you decide to proceed with the treatment, the next step will be to carry out a patch test. The purpose of this test is to establish the most appropriate treatment parameters and to observe how your skin and tattoo respond to a preliminary application.
During the patch test, a small section of your tattoo will be treated. This allows us to monitor the absorption of light energy and determine whether your skin and the tattoo pigment react as expected, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the full treatment.
Aftercare and Monitoring
Following the patch test, we will ask you to keep note of any redness or swelling that occurs, as well as the duration it takes for these symptoms to diminish. Additionally, we would appreciate it if you informed us of any blistering or if your skin feels excessively hot for an extended period after the treatment. This information is vital in assessing your skin's response and in planning any further treatment sessions.
Pre-Treatment Preparation
To ensure the best possible outcome from your tattoo removal treatment, the area to be treated must be prepared. Please make certain that the skin is completely clean and free from any make-up, perfume, deodorant, or body and face creams before your appointment. The application of active or fake tan on the treatment area should be strictly avoided.
Exposure to sunbeds or prolonged periods in direct sunlight is not permitted for at least one month leading up to your treatment. If you have developed a suntan, either from natural sunlight or artificial tanning products, this must fade entirely before treatment can commence. Similarly, please ensure that all traces of fake tan and gradual tanning products have completely disappeared from the area to be treated.
Between your treatment sessions, protect the treated area by applying a sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30. This precaution helps to prevent sun damage and reduces the risk of complications.
Your medical history will be recorded during your initial consultation. However, it is important to keep us updated regarding any changes to your health or medication. This includes any new prescribed medicines, over-the-counter remedies, or herbal supplements you may begin taking. Keeping us informed ensures your safety and helps us tailor the treatment to your individual needs.
Finally, please ensure that you arrive punctually for your scheduled appointment so that we can provide you with the best care and attention throughout your treatment journey.
